Invisalign is the invisible way to straighten teeth without braces. Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable aligners to gradually straighten teeth, without metal or wires. Invisalign uses 3-D computer imaging technology to depict the complete treatment plan from the initial position to the final desired position from which a series of custom-made, clear “aligners” are produced. Each “aligner” moves teeth incrementally and is worn for about two weeks, then replaced by the next in the series until the final position is achieved. Invisalign allows you to view your own virtual treatment plan before you startso you can see how your straight teeth will look when your treatment is complete.
Some treatments can be completed in as little as 6 months.

Digital Radiographs (X-Rays) allow us to take films with up to 95% less radiation than conventional x-rays. Sensors, instead of film, are placed in the patients mouth and after exposure, the image appears on a computer screen in just seconds. Instead of holding up small films that are hard to see, Dr. Levin can look at the images on a computer screen together with the patient. The image can be enlarged many times its actual size. This technology is not only safer to our patients but also allows them to understand the diagnosis.

This is a small camera with a fiber optic light source small enough to be placed within the mouth. This camera allows images of your teeth to be displayed on a computer monitor. Some of the conditions we can see with an intraoral camera that are difficult to see with the naked eye include: various types of oral lesions, broken fillings, cracked teeth, and cavities in areas that are difficult to see and reach. Our patients can better understand the diagnosis and proposed treatment when they can see it themselves.
Laser detection of tooth decay with an increased measure of accuracy.

What is DIAGNOdent®?
Diagnodent is a laser which is used to detect tooth decay.
How Does DIAGNOdent® Work?
The Diagnodent works by registering a baseline reading of a patients normal tooth structure. As Dr. Levin examines the other teeth, the laser detects any variation from normal.
How would DIAGNOdent® benefit me?
With this laser, Dr. Levin is able to make better treatment decisions earlier, as he can now detect areas of decay which previously would have been invisible. |
